Sam is a writer and editor, experienced in managing content creation teams, white hat SEO, and remote collaboration. Originally from London in the UK, Sam now lives and works in Guadalajara in Mexico.
As a teacher of English as a foreign language, Sam gained a deep understanding of English grammar, honed his skills as a communicator, and learned how to spot a writing error at 100 yards.
Later, as a freelance writer, Sam created landing page copy, CTAs, blogs, and essays. Then, as the editor and lead writer at a UK SEO agency, he created a remote team of writers, which was key to the agency doubling its client base.
Following this, Sam joined a data-driven EdTech startup from the UK, where he helped develop a series of resources for exam students. SEO performance rocketed, as did organic impressions and clicks, user engagement, and conversions.
Then, Sam joined Flying Cat Marketing as a senior editor and content team lead, where he produced long-form thought-leadership articles for B2B SaaS organizations.
